We're Moving!

I've been wanting to write this post for a couple weeks now, but I didn't want to get too excited for something that wasn't set in stone. Knowing my luck it would have gone wrong, so I wanted to wait until I was sure. Well, now it's for sure and I'm packing up the house!

We're moving! I'm seriously so excited and happy!

It's been in the works for a few weeks now, even though we thought we were going to have another few months before we got anywhere. It came as a bit of a surprise how quick the whole thing was so it's still not really hit quite yet. I keep having little moments where I remember it's happening and I get way too excited for my own good!

I suppose I better explain a little, otherwise I'm just going to end up yapping on about how excited I am.

Last year we started looking into maybe moving and changing jobs, but nothing really came of it. We wanted to, but a few people we spoke about it with very obviously didn't like the idea of it for one reason or another. As we weren't completely set on it and it was just an idea, it was easier to just slowly forget about it, and so we did.

Since then we've gotten engaged, and we're looking forward to the next chapter! We don't plan on getting married until late next year at the earliest, but all the same we're starting to think of married life and we've been trying for a family for a while now. So soon enough the idea of changing to a better paid job (and therefore moving as our house comes with his job) came back around, and this time we were a lot more serious about it.

We want somewhere to start our own story. As a young couple, we want to stand on our own two feet and start our own family. Where we live right now it can be quite stressful sometimes, and we've decided we don't want to raise a family here, so sooner or later we would have moved. Might as well get it over with now!

B started looking at jobs, and two weeks later he was signing the contract! It means we're relocating, but the pros far outweigh the cons and we're able to keep Kobi and the birds! If I'm honest keeping the birds was my biggest concern as not everyone wants chickens as neighbors, but we lucked out and don't have any close enough for it to be a problem. We're moving into a residential mobile home, which is a first for both of us, but it's such a good opportunity for B's career it would be silly to turn it down!

I've been planning loads of moving posts and plan to bring you guys on the journey, so make sure you're following me on Instagram to keep up with it all! If you have any advice or tips, they'd be much appreciated!
