Favourite Movies for a Cozy Night In

Hey everyone! I was just going through what posts I have on my blog, and found that I've done a post on movies for Halloween and Christmas, but not for cozy nights in! I was shocked, as cozy nights are my thing and I've recently found quite a few favourites. As the title says, today's post is a little about my favourite movies for a cozy night in!

I'm quite picky with movies, as certain story-lines and slow paced movies really make me restless and set off my anxiety. I have no idea why, but it does, and so I can find it hard to find new movies if I don't know what to expect. Luckily, my other half doesn't seem to mind too much when I end up jumping up and down and shouting at the TV when this happens.

Favourite Movies for a Cozy Night In

  • Deadpool. Personally I absolutely loved this movie and can't wait to see the next one! I didn't really know what to expect, so I kind of had it on in the background at first but I soon sat down and started watching it properly.
  • Suicide Squad. Now I know there's been quite a few people who have said they didn't like this one, and I can kind of see where they're coming from. Saying that, I really liked that there was a movie purely for the bad guys instead of it being the good guys beating the bad guys like every other movie. (I'm not fully aware if there are other movies like this, so there could be more bad guy movies!)
  • Star Trek Beyond. I went to see this one in the cinema as a birthday present for my other half, and my goodness if you haven't watched it please do. There are so many scenes that are incredible, and I'm very pleased to have been able to see it in cinema and experience it with a hell of a lot more volume than my neighbors would allow at home.
  • 50 First Dates. I first watched this ages ago, and then the disk got scratched so I never watched it again until recently. I don't know what it is that I like so much about it, but it started off my love for The Beach Boys and the ending almost makes me cry with happiness!
  • The Chronicles of Riddick. I'd actually never heard of these until my other half introduced me to them only a year or so ago. Since then I've really enjoyed the franchise and I believe another movie is in the works! It might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's definitely worth a try.
  • Bridget Jones' Diary. I've been watching this one on cozy nights in with my mum for ages! As this one is such a classic for sleepovers and such, I don't think I need to say much about it. I'm still very jealous about the snow they get though.
