My To Be Read List

Hey everyone! Today is my second day doing Blogtober 2017, and to be honest I'm already asking myself what have I gotten myself in to! When I decided I would be blogging every day this month, I did plan on writing and scheduling a lot of them, knowing that eventually I will have a very busy week or two and not get to writing anything at all. But, it seems to be my busy week has come just before October so I may not have much planned or scheduled but I'm hoping I can redeem myself over the next couple weeks and get back on track.

Rambling over, today I decided I would like to share with you my TBR list (that's To Be Read, aren't I all modern? Haha!). I stopped reading a long time ago, and just never really found the urge to pick up a book again. Since redecorating our house and all the books we own are now nicely out on shelves for me to see, I wanted to start reading again. I started a couple weeks ago, and I read The Girl On The Train, which I think the ending was a bit abrupt but in all a good book to read.

Anyway, without further a do, here is my TBR list:

  • Let Me Tell you About a Man I Knew - Susan Fletcher
  • Coffin Road - Peter May
  • Started Early, Took My Dog - Kate Atkinson
  • an Unhallowed Grave - Kate Ellis
  • The Cadaver Game - Kate Ellis
  • The Suspicions of Mr. Wicher - Kate Summerscale

As you can see, most of them are to do with crime. I picked these books mainly because I already own them and have just never read them. I don't want to go and buy a load of books if I'm only just getting back into reading, as I know what I'm like and will buy a load of books than end up gathering dust somewhere.

I was mad about books for a long time, I read all four Twilight books in a week, and I've read a few of The Mortal Instruments as well. Those are the books that really got me into reading after having hated it for so long. Reading became my passion, and I would stay up all night for "just one more chapter". when life got a bit hectic at about 19, I fell out of the habit and since then I've never really picked up a book.

I like the sound of all the books above, and really hope I can make my way through the list before the end of the year and start myself a new list for 2018! I think I can manage it if I can read a book a week more or less, and that should give me plenty of time after to plan my next TBR list.

Do you like to read? What are some of your favourite books or authors? Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you for dropping by,
Love, Bella xo
