Movies to Watch this Halloween

Hey everyone! As this weekend is the weekend before Halloween, I thought I would share some of my favourite movies for Halloween so you can top up your movie pile! This was going to be a "My Favourite Horror Movies" but when I was re-watching the first one my heart decided it's a little too much at the moment to be giving myself frights and jumps!

So, having crossed off pretty much half of this list before I even got to it -28 Weeks Later and Bride of Chucky were on there- I decided I'd save myself the torture and heart palpitations and share my favourite Halloween movies sans horreur.

  • Corpse Bride
I was very -and I mean very- late getting to watch this one. It'd been out years before I ever got round to watching it! So if you've watched this one to death -hah!- please excuse my love for it! Actually, I'm going to watch this again after this post is written.
  • Sweeney Todd
Sweeney Todd is a tad gore-y for me to not have to turn away every now and again - I recommend not eating while watching it!- but I have to say I still love it as a Halloween story. I want to know what happened to Joanna and the sailor though!
  • The Haunted Airman
This isn't the best film I've ever watched, only because I found it so hard to understand! Otherwise, once you understand it a little more, I like this films take on the horrors of being trapped inside your own mind.
  • The Haunted Mansion
A reincarnated lover, ghosts, and Singing Busts, all wrapped up in a Haunted Mansion that gives you the creeps? Yes please! This could very well be the child in me talking here, but this is definitely one of my favourites still.
  • Ghostbusters & Ghostbusters 2
    Need I say more?
Do you like Horror movies? If so, which ones will you be watching this Halloween? If you don't, do you have any more suggestions to add to this list? Let me know down in the comments!
