Blog Photo Prop Haul - Poundland & Home Bargains

Hey everyone! Recently I've really been trying my hardest with Instagram and getting better at taking photos for both IG and this blog, so I thought I would treat myself to some props! I've managed to get my hands on some props absolutely free (which will be a in another post soon enough!) but I still decided I needed a little more something in my photos.

Off to the shops I went!

Right now it's most definitely autumn, and I'm completely in love with anything autumnal! I'm also just a tad too excited for Halloween and Christmas, so I've picked up some bits for both occasions.

First, I went into Poundland. There I managed to find a silver Skull tea-light holder, a silver Reindeer tea-light holder, and a Merry Christmas sign. They have loads of other bits, but seeing as it was so busy and I only went to one branch, that's all I found on this trip.

I then went to Home Bargains. I originally went for only one thing, but I then found the Christmas section - and ended up getting my dog a Christmas present and a Christmas themed blanket- and I found a few other bits I fell in love with.

First of all, I found these little wooden Christmas Trees in the craft section. I immediately imagined flat-lays and product-photos with these little trees in the background, and couldn't say no! I also found some tree print wrapping paper. I will be using some of the wrapping paper to actually wrap a gift, but the rest is for me and my photos!

I then found the candle section. Oh. My. God. I fell in love and wanted to stay there forever! I ended up picking up two, one for more autumnal photos & Halloween-y vibes, and the other most definitely for Christmas!

I think both smell amazing, although the Halloween one takes a little while to notice.

Finally, I found this lovely little hamper! Well, I needed a little box to put all my new found props in! I absolutely love it -I feel like I've said that a lot in this post?- and as I write this all these props are safely chilling in the hamper.

All in all, I feel like this trip has been very successful. I'm so pleased with what I've managed to find, and I think I may have found a new love for blog props! I better get photographing!
